Hello, my name is Alvin, I’m a chef, and food has been a huge part of my life since 2000. I started out in fast food and eventually made my way into the professional kitchen, where I’ve been working since 2007.
Over the years, I’ve experienced the long hours, the pressure, the teamwork, the crazy moments, the unforgettable people—and, of course, plenty of stories that are probably better left out of the employee handbook.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something:
People in the food world have a pretty great sense of humor.

Cooking can be serious business. But it doesn't mean we have to take everything seriously.
This shop was created to celebrate the people who live, breathe, cook, create, serve, and obsess over food with designs that bring a little humor, personality, pride, and passion to everyday life.
